fisherman's friend

I ordered this yellow Fisherman's coat from eBay last week. Upon opening the package this evening I guffawed to myself for a bit as it comes with a matching pair of trousers and the texture is best described as that of a rubber glove. Sort of resisting the urge to glue cotton wool to my chin and traipse through my halls dressed head to toe in this gear as a homage to Fishermans Friends..

Still I like the coat even if it is a little on the large side. And I'm sure the trousers will come to use for all of those water based activities I fill my weekends with. Wading and rowing and standing in downpours?

I've always wanted one of those classic yellow raincoats! Or one of those green ones with the little whale print inside...

haha that is brillant!cant believe it came with trousers lol
looks fantastic on you though!
i've been obsessing over Cos' blue and ta one for a while now, hoping i can treat myself to it this month.
this must be the most sensible waterproof coat i have ever wanted!
p.s. - i think you should fashion the trousers into shorts for the beach :p

Totally agree with Elisabeth - fisherman shorts are the next logical step! I've been thinking about one of these for a while. A stylish actually waterproof coat is the dream. Saw a smart Jack Wills (of all places) one sometime. Not sure my skin tone can take that much yellow though... You look great!

Woah woah woah! My sister has just sent me a coat like this! A suave little/massive pvc number, good ol' topshop. You look fab, sergeant major kudos also for pulling off the personal style posts so well without looking like a vain little miss; i dont really know how to do pictures of myself without seeming self engrossed and horrible! Really get lots of inspiration from your blog, truly love it! xxxxxxx
