Seems yesterday we see the first massive skateboards invasion and now they're kind of retro. And feminine too! Mad cool world ;-)
I think it's the fact that it's not what you'd expect them to be doing, that suprise coupled with a sense of rebellion.
and the beautiful hazy quality of the photos just adds. Caravan girl is already playing in my head now!
Beautiful photos. I love the mixture of the clothes with the skateboard. I really like girls on bikes at the moment too; makes me feel all summery.
Its a rare to find a girl who's willing to get herself dirty or put her body up for injury. There's something very brave about it.
I think there is just something so effortlessly and casually bad ass about skateboarding. It suggests that the girl is fine with getting a few scraped knees, literally and metaphorically.
oh god this is so my summer dream. unfortunately i'm more into the idea of skateboarding than actually doing it, i can barely even move :(

I always wanted to learn how to skateboard... so badass. I even forced my 7 year old neighbor to teach me but I ended up on my ass most of the time.
My friend could skateboard in high heel wedges and a skirt which makes me insanely jeeealous.
A thing to add to my "Why don't you?" list: learn to skate

You're right..girls on skateboards look too good to be true! I tried to learn how to skateboard..but I never knew it was so difficult. After watching the video of Goldfrapp's Caravan Girl, I want to try to learn it again..and this time I'm not giving up!

Gorgeous photos. Skateboards are just retro cool, and very effortless. Just the othe day I was talking to my bf about getting a skateboard...it was during my Hello Kitty fixation though so I wouldn't look as cool as these girls!
I never learn how to skate but I was always attracted to do that, it's so cool
