hitting it big

i'm really pushing the humpty dumpty trousers; they're just so bloody refreshing and actually allow your legs to.. well, breathe. who knew something so baggy arsed could look so sexy? Example? Valentine! She oozes sex appeal. Stumbled across picture five on garancedore.fr a couple of days ago and chucked to myself at the comparrisons with my own outfit from the post below. dumpty trousers and shoulder pads; it's really not a great sounding formula. so why is it soso right?

1. Valentine 2. Girl A 3. Michelle Jank 4. Irina L 5. Girl B 6. Kate L

The look is so smart and yet it looks comfy. I wish that I could pull it off, but I'm affraid that I would look just fat. :(

Great group of photos! I love this look, but have been really hesitant to try it, particularly now that's it's getting hot in Atlanta. Very inspiring though!

I like Irina's trousers: very chic and masculine but girly too, in a Annie Hall way.

Like it, especially with the drama of the shoulderpads. It's so wrong that it's fashionable good!

But, not seen on me. Def not! I just watch other people rock it, haha!

i certainly recommend that you give the look a go if you're interested. just play dress up and play around with the proportions bearing in mind what suits you..

and thanks anonymous (speak up!) for the doillon link; how fantastic does she look? but hardly surprising; it is lou!

completely agree with heloise j and aretha about the annie hall/k hepburn comparrisons.

and why does Valentine look the best, c bar? because of that undeniably gorgeous and nonchalant pose!

Love these trousers too, with a less voluminous top. I've found J Brand Malik baggy jeans to be perfect for this look.

OMG I just wore these today!! but if they are really long, you have to wear them with really tall heels that can get annoying!!
